Nobody wants to look like they are trying something on for the first time. Here is how to start so that it does not read that way.

A lot of men in Pakistan want to wear something and do not, because the first piece feels like a declaration. You put on a chain, someone at work notices, and suddenly you are a person who wears jewellery, which was not really the plan. The plan was to look slightly better.
That worry is legitimate and the solution is straightforward: start with something that reads as ordinary. Here is the order we would go in.

It sits below the collarbone, it is visible with an open collar and invisible with a buttoned one, it survives showers and wudu and the gym, it costs little enough that a change of mind is not painful, and it is the single most common piece of men's jewellery in the world — which means nobody will read it as a statement, because it is not one.
