When to order
The second Sunday in May falls between the 8th and the 14th. That is also when summer arrives properly in much of the country, which matters for the kind of piece you choose as well as for delivery.
- Major cities: order five days to a week before.
- Smaller cities, towns and remote areas: allow ten days.
- If the gift is a ring or bangles and the size is uncertain: order two weeks ahead so an exchange is possible before the day.
- Eid moves around eleven days earlier each year, so in some years it falls in the same fortnight as Mother's Day. In those years, order well before the Eid rush.
Start with what she already wears

What comfortable means, in practice
- Light weight. A bracelet or chain she forgets she is wearing will be worn far more than one she notices all day.
