Check jump rings once a month. A visible gap means close it with two small pliers or have a jeweller solder it shut.
For good charms, ask a jeweller to solder the jump rings closed. It is a small job and it stops charms disappearing.
Remove it for cooking, washing up, wudu and sleep. Charms trap water and soap and tangle overnight.
